Anodizing

Maximum durability and a timeless appearance.

What is anodizing?

Anodizing is a controlled process in which the natural oxide layer of aluminium is replaced by a stronger, artificially induced oxide layer. The result: improved corrosion resistance, colour fastness, and a decorative surface without the addition of coatings. The layer is an integral part of the metal and forms a dense, wear-resistant oxide layer.

Why choose anodizing?

Anodizing is strong, durable, and environmentally friendly.

  • UV-resistant and colourfast
The anodized layer on our GARline® profiles is extremely UV-resistant, retains its colour, and stays cool, even under bright sunlight.
  • Very high corrosion resistance
Even in coastal or industrial environments
  • Low maintenance
Maintains its appearance without intensive cleaning
  • Environmentally friendly
    Recyclable and solvent-free

Colour with character

With anodizing, we create more than just a protective layer: we bring colour to life. Thanks to the use of metal sulfates, we can offer unique, stable shades without affecting the recyclability of the aluminium. Each colour retains its depth, luster, and character, even after years of exposure to the elements.

Sustainable production

Certified quality

Our anodizing partners work with fully automated processes and the latest technology, which guarantees consistent top quality, short delivery times, and certified reliability (ISO 9001, ISO 14000, QUALANOD). With anodizing solutions up to 7 meters in length, they are ideal for large facade projects.

Other finishes

In addition to anodizing, we also offer other finishing options

Powder coating

A durable, colourfast, and corrosion-resistant finish.
Thanks to careful pre-treatment and a three-step coating process, a wear-resistant layer is created that provides protection against weather and oxidation.
